Colorado Springs Best Italian Restaurants

La Bella Vita, Paravicini’s, Biaggi’s, and Stellina’s are some of my favorite Colorado Springs Italian restaurants. My grandmother immigrated from Italy, and I’ve always felt more Italian than Irish (although I’m both)! My family taught me how to make lasagne, meatballs, and pasta from scratch. What I love about Italian food is how good it tastes even the next day if you can’t finish dinner that night. Here are some of the very best Italian restaurants in Colorado Springs for your enjoyment!

Biaggi’s Menu in Colorado Springs

Here’s a little more about the history of Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano:
Todd Hovenden’s graduate school business plan, written while he was a student at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management MBA program, is the foundation of the narrative of Biaggi’s. When Todd pursued a straightforward goal in 1998—to deliver genuine, freshly prepared Italian cuisine in a welcoming environment with exceptional service and reasonable prices—that business plan came to fruition. With the completion of the first location’s construction in Bloomington, Illinois, Biaggi’s was born.

Italian cuisine is known for its robust flavors, fresh ingredients, and mouth-watering aromas. In Colorado Springs, Italian restaurants are aplenty, and each one offers its unique take on classic Italian dishes. Four of the most notable Italian restaurants in Colorado Springs are La Bella Vita, Paravicini’s, Biaggi’s, and Stellina’s.

La Bella Vita, located on the northwest side of town, is a family-owned restaurant that prides itself on serving authentic Italian cuisine. The menu boasts classic Italian dishes like lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, and fettuccine alfredo, but the standout dish is their wood-fired pizza. La Bella Vita’s pizza is made with fresh dough and cooked to perfection in their wood-fired oven, which gives the pizza a crispy crust and a smoky flavor. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list featuring both Italian and local wines, making it a perfect spot for a date night or a night out with friends.

Paravicini’s, located in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs, is a lively and bustling Italian restaurant that has been a local favorite for over a decade. The restaurant’s cozy and inviting atmosphere makes it a popular spot for families, while its extensive menu caters to all tastes. Some of Paravicini’s most popular dishes include the chicken piccata, shrimp scampi, and the veal saltimbocca. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options and a dedicated children’s menu. Paravicini’s is known for its generous portions, so be sure to come hungry!

Biaggi’s, located on the east side of town, is a modern Italian restaurant that offers a contemporary take on classic Italian dishes. The restaurant’s interior is sleek and sophisticated, with an open kitchen where diners can watch their food being prepared. Biaggi’s menu features a range of Italian dishes, from antipasti and salads to pasta and pizza. One of their standout dishes is the lobster bisque, which is rich and creamy with chunks of lobster meat. Another favorite is the margherita pizza, which is made with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. Biaggi’s also has an extensive wine list featuring both Italian and American wines.

Stellina’s, located on the west side of town, is a cozy and intimate Italian restaurant that has been serving classic Italian dishes for over a decade. The restaurant’s menu features traditional dishes like bruschetta, eggplant parmesan, and linguine with clams, as well as some more unique options like the wild boar ragu and the duck confit risotto. Stellina’s also has a great selection of desserts, including their famous tiramisu, which is made in-house daily. The restaurant’s wine list features both Italian and American wines, and their knowledgeable staff can help diners choose the perfect wine to complement their meal.
